1. Who we are and this agreement
CodeAuditAgent (the "Service") is provided by Lina Source LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organization.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You sign in with a GitHub account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your GitHub account secure.
- Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. The Service
The Service uses artificial intelligence to review source code you provide, either from public GitHub repositories or as pasted snippets, and produces reports describing potential security vulnerabilities and other defects with suggested fixes. Features and limits depend on your plan and are described on our pricing page. We may improve, change or discontinue features; if we remove a material paid feature, we will give reasonable notice.
4. Your code and content
- You keep all rights to the code you submit and to the reports generated for you.
- You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to access, copy, process and store your code and reports only as needed to provide, secure and improve the reliability of the Service, including sending code to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You confirm that you own the code you submit or are authorized to have it reviewed, and that submitting it does not breach any law, contract or confidentiality obligation.
- We do not claim ownership of your code and we do not use it to train AI models.
5. AI-generated output
Reports are generated by AI and may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. The Service does not guarantee that it will find every vulnerability, that reported findings are correct, or that suggested patches are safe to apply. Reports are not a substitute for a professional security assessment or penetration test. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and deciding whether to apply any suggestion before using it in production.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit code you are not authorized to review, or use the Service to find weaknesses in systems you do not own or have permission to test.
- Use findings or the Service to attack, exploit or harm any person, system or network.
- Circumvent plan limits, rate limits or security controls, create accounts to evade limits, or interfere with the Service's operation.
- Reverse engineer, scrape or copy the Service, or resell or sublicense it without our written permission.
- Upload malware or unlawful content, or use the Service in violation of any law, including export control and sanctions laws.
We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary.
7. Plans, billing and cancellation
- The Free plan is provided without charge and with the limits shown on our pricing page.
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in US dollars. They renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to your plan until then.
- Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused audits or downgrades, except where required by law.
- If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or Türkiye, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days. Because the Service is supplied digitally and starts immediately at your request, that right may end once the Service has been provided, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
- If a payment fails, we may restrict paid features until the balance is paid.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text and the CodeAuditAgent name and logo, belongs to Lina Source LLC and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in them except the right to use the Service as permitted here. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party services, including GitHub, Stripe, Anthropic, Supabase and Cloudflare. Your use of GitHub and Stripe is also governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings; cancel any paid subscription first. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will give notice. On termination your right to use the Service ends and we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lina Source LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, including losses resulting from security incidents in your systems or from applying or not applying any report. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions or limits, so they apply only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.
13. Indemnification
If you use the Service for business purposes, you will defend and indemnify Lina Source LLC against third-party claims arising from code you submit without authorization or from your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims in its courts where the law gives you that right. Before starting proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in the dashboard. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you may cancel and delete your account.
16. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms are written in English; translations are provided for convenience, and the English version prevails if they differ.
