Email notifications
Which emails CodeAuditAgent sends, in which language, and how to turn each of them off.
We send as little email as the product can get away with. There are exactly two notifications, and you control both.
- Audit finished — one message per completed audit, with the source, the severity breakdown, the risk score and a link to the report.
- Watchlist digest — at most one message every six hours, listing new CVEs that matched your watchlist terms.
Turning them off
Settings in the dashboard has a switch for each one; the change takes effect immediately. Every notification also carries a one-click unsubscribe link, so a mailbox provider can switch it off for you without a visit to the site.
Messages about your account and your billing — a receipt, a failed payment, a change to these terms — are not notifications and are always sent.
Language
Notifications are written in the language saved on your account, which is the one you pick in Settings. If you have not picked one, we use the language you started the audit in.
Where the mail comes from
Mail is sent from [email protected], with [email protected] as the reply address, from our own mail server. The domain publishes SPF, DKIM and a DMARC policy, and the sending host has matching forward and reverse DNS, so a receiving server can verify that a message claiming to be from us really is.
